Revert Support Programme
At Airdrie Islamic Center, we are committed to providing a welcoming and supportive environment for those new to Islam and those interested in learning more about the faith. Our Revert Support Programme is designed to ease the journey of new Muslims by offering guidance, friendship, and a strong sense of community. This programme has been running for the last 16 years now and hundreds of people have taken Shahadah and benefitted from our services.
We host weekly drop-in sessions, creating a safe and inclusive space for reverts to Islam, those exploring the faith, and anyone with questions about Islam. These sessions focus on learning, socialising, and networking, ensuring that every individual receives the support they need. Whether you are looking for religious guidance, practical advice, or simply a sense of belonging, our sessions are here to help.
A key element of our programme is the informal and welcoming atmosphere, where discussions can take place over shared meals. We believe that food fosters connection, and many meaningful conversations happen in this relaxed setting. In addition to faith-based learning, we also provide advice on future planning, helping new Muslims integrate their faith into their personal and professional lives.
Understanding the importance of family in this journey, we warmly welcome non-Muslim family members who may have questions or wish to better understand their loved one’s new path. Our goal is to foster understanding and strengthen relationships within families.
Whether you are a new Muslim, a seeker of knowledge, or someone supporting a loved one in their journey, our doors are open. We invite you to join our Revert Support Programme and become part of a compassionate and uplifting community.
For more details, feel free to contact us or visit our center during our next session.
The sessions run Every Tuesday 7pm at Airdrie Islamic Centre.
